Trolleybus & Tram

The Trolley-Bus

Trolley-bus is a trackless passenger vehicle which runs on electricity, receiving it from an external source of power via a rod of a current collector.
Payment for travel in a trolley-bus is the same as on other kinds of ground public transportation: bus and tram. Universal tickets and Troika cards can be used here as well.

The Tram

The name of this mean of transport came, according to one of the versions, from a car for transporting coal in mines in Great Britain. This type of street rail public transport carries passengers on the specified routes and is used mainly in the cities.

Useful tip: if you have a choice - to go somewhere at "rush hour" choose the tram. Especially, in Moscow! For it is not subject to the congestion on the roads, because riding in cars on tram ways is forbidden!
